Driver Mirror adjuster popped

I went to adjust my drver side mirror on my w124 300e 24. Heard a clunk....
Now no more adjustable. :pale:
Can still move by hand with the window diwn!
Any suggestions?

Probably you broke the control arm that does the mirror adjustment. Should look like this with handle off and unattached:

You'd still be able to manually move the mirror by touching it even if lever mechanism is broke.

To fix you could buy another mirror 2nd hand and gently pry off the old outer moulding onto the replacement, then refit. Or if your feeling lucky, take yours apart and fit a replacement control arm.
